Aspire Residential is pleased to announce its support for Worthing FoodBank, a charity that has been in operation in the local area since 2006.

Foodbank is a system of collecting and distributing basic food and sanitary items for those in need and at times of crisis. It provides 3 days food supply and the provision of “body basic” sanitary items via its Worthing distribution center which is located in Chapel Road and run by volunteers. It has so far helped several thousand people in the local area.

Foodbank aims to help people from all walks of life recognising that anyone can fall on hard times or be hit by a crisis at any time. Some of the people it has helped include those experiencing domestic violence, suffering from sickness and illness, those who lose their jobs, people waiting for benefits to be processed and people on low incomes.

To be successful, the FoodBank relies on regular financial donations and contributions of basic food and sanitary items. In support of this great cause, Aspire Residential Office in Goring High Street is receiving contributions from staff, clients, friends and the general public of body basic items including;

  • Deodorant
  • Shave Foam
  • Toilet Rolls
  • Shampoo
  • Shower Gel
  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrushes
  • Razors
  • Hand Wash
  • Washing Up Liquid

If you wish to make a cash contribution to FoodBank you can do it via their website at;

If you wish to get more involved in this great cause, then they are always looking for volunteers to help with supermarket collections and assist in their warehouse and distribution center.

Aspire Residential’s Co-Founder and Lettings Director Rob Gamon commented that “we are so very proud to be supporting this charity and to help people in the local community. As a business enterprise that deals with the public on a daily basis, we get to see how people can be hit by a sudden crisis or can experience longer term hardship. We recognise that people can go through some very tough periods in life and we want to do anything we can to help. We hope this is the start of a long term relationship between Aspire Residential and Foodbank, and that we can support them for many years to come”.

If you have any body basic items that you would like to donate, then please pop into our office to drop them off.

Thank you from the team at Aspire Residential
