Aspire Residential is pleased to announce its sponsorship and support of this year’s Easter Fairy Tale Fair organised by the Northbrook Friends of St Barnabas House. The Fair will be held at Worthing Charmandean Centre on Sunday 5th April 2020, with proceeds going to the St Barnabas House. Opened by the Mayor of Worthing, last year’s fair was a huge success featuring over 70 craft makers and vintage stalls along with face painting, balloon modelling and the St Barnabas House stalls and raffle.
Located in Worthing, St Barnabas House hospice was opened in 1973 and was one of the first three hospices providing end-of-life care to be built in Britain. The hospice is a local charity that provides support and expert care for those with life-limiting illness. Its mission is to provide dignity, comfort and choice for adults who need specialised, supportive care. The hospice team consists of nurses, doctors, social workers, counsellors, a Chaplain, physiotherapists, complementary therapists, an Artist-in-Residence, Hospice at Home team and over 1,700 dedicated volunteers.
Rob Gamon, Aspire Residential’s Director of Lettings and Management commented that “We are incredibly proud to be able to support this local charity. The St Barnabas team provide amazing care for those with life-limiting illness and also offer support to their families. With thousands of volunteers and fundraisers, it is clear that the hospice is really important to the local community. The father of one of Aspire Residential’s Directors was recently cared for by the staff at St Barnabas and our sponsorship and support of the Easter Fair allows us to say a personal “thank you” to their amazing team”.
